What I do for my skin every day 'Layer up a variety of elixers to target different concerns. No one face cream has it all, and skin responds better to this prescriptive approach. After cleansing, I apply a layer of Environ Evenescence C-Boost to tackle uneven skin tone, followed by a slick of Medik8 Growth Factor Serum - it contains proteins that mimic growth factors found naturally in your skin to help stimulate collagen production and smooth fine lines. To hydrate my face, I rely on omega oils in Freash Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil and my Brightening Day + Night Cream. Both products are also packed with antioxidant vitamins to protect against pollution, which is not proven to be as big an ager as UV rays.'
What I'd never do 'Squeeze my spots! Instead, I like to zap them with a device I have in my clinic, which passes mild electric currents though skin. Then I apply a good spot cream, such as Environ BActive Sebuspot, and just leave them to heal.'
Skin-perfecting trick 'Facial massage. I use a product of my own called the Lift + Sculpt Butterfly Stone to drain puffiness in my face. The magic is in its shape - held against the face, the tips of the wings are briliant for sweeping across your forehead then down your temples, finishing weith outward sweeps across the cheek. To lift the eye area, I use the tips to scoop up the brow. And to massage tense facial muscles around the cheeks, I wedge the edge of the wing into nose-to-mouth lines and move it up and down. Do this massage three times a week, applying gentle pressure - it feels like a workout for your facial muscles.'
Any unusual beauty habits? 'Three times a week I use a dermaroller. At first glance, its barrel, which is covred in ultra-fine needles, looks like a medieval tool of torture but used regularly it's a great weapon against ageing. After applying an anaesthetic cream, I roll it back and forth across my face, piercing microscopic-sized holes in my skin. Although a bit traumatic, it encourages skin to produce new collagen in order to repair itself. I find it really helps my skincare to penetrate better and is excellent for tired skin that's losing its smoothness.'
Favorite products: 'Georgia Louise Lift + Sculpt Butterfly Stone, Georgia Louise Brightening Day + Night Cream, and Environ Evenescence C-Boost, which is light and contains vitamin C so it's a great skin brightener.
