WSJ. Magazine May 2015: The Columnists
WSJ. asks six luminaries to weigh in on a single topic. This month: Vibes
“I’ve always been a vibes freak. I think I was born with a nose for vibes. And I’m someone who has a calming influence on anyone I meet. So when people come into my office, they feel instantly relaxed and chilled out. I have a very intimate job—I’m touching people’s faces and picking up on their energy levels. We have big pitches and low pitches and different frequencies. I don’t think I would be as successful if I didn’t have good vibes. If you could see how much time I spend zenning out my space here, you would die. I have rose quartz crystals under my treatment bed, I have a Tibetan bowl I bash at the end of each day to remove all the negative energy, I’m always burning essential oils. Vibes are a lifestyle choice—you have to build them into your life. It’s really about having good intention, to help and be kind to others.”
