How Facial Yoga Can Help You Fight Off Wrinkles
If you're starting to obsess about little lines on your face and fantasize about what Botox could be doing for you, there might be a more natural (and even fun!) way to combat those wrinkles-in-the-making. It's called facial yoga. Yes, it's different from the yoga you do in the hopes of achieving Jennifer Aniston levels of tone, but similar enough that you get the point. It's all about exercising and strengthening the muscles in your face and neck to help promote a more toned overall appearance.
Celebrity facialist Georgia Louise touts the moves as her youth-enhancing beauty secret (celebs like Jennifer Aniston and Katy Perry can credit her for their radiant complexions). And what's our proof for Louise being onto something with these gravity-defying exercises? Her skin positively glows in an I-have-literally-no-idea-how-old-you-are sort of way. She touts facial yoga as a "safe, natural way to help prevent skin from sagging."
We're totally on board because it can be easily done in your bathroom while you're winding down at night or during a good Netflix session (no full-body yoga movements here). Oh, and it might be obvious, but did we mention it's completely free to do? Here's how to master two of Louise's best techniques (the Horn Blower and the Angry Smile) in three minutes flat. Warning: You'll look a little ridiculous, but your face will thank you later.
