Like for so many of us, your Thanksgiving Day this year might look a little bit different than usual. With all of the advice warning against travel and large family gatherings, you may be wondering what you can do to still make the day special while staying safe at home.

And I completely understand that because I was wondering the same thing…

Until I decided why not do one of my favorite things in the world – a facial – but rather than simply relaxing on my own, include my family.

Yes, it’s Thanksgiving Day Facial Time for the whole family, enjoy!

Step 1 – Start with a double cleanse

Every facial must start with perfectly cleansed skin. After all, you can’t get the benefits of the actives in your skincare products without a clean pallet to start.

That’s why at my home, we will be starting with my personal fave, my Georgia Louise The Balm.

Once The Balm has done its work, removing the pore-clogging oils that can lead to breakouts, it’s time to whisk away dirt and other toxins that may still be clinging to your skin with a gel-based cleanser. This is a vital step and is part of the double cleanse technique that I love so much.

This Thanksgiving, my family will be using my pH Perfecting Wash for this step.

Step 2 - Massage

This is a family favorite, my kids love to get massaged! First, apply your favorite serum or oil to your skin. I am using my Georgia Louise Sleeping Beauty Oil, an intensive, beautifully scented blend of essential oils and botanicals to soften and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles!

Step 3 - Mask on

Finally, for the step everyone in your family is sure to love, it’s time to break your sheet masks! Slipping on your sheet mask is so incredibly relaxing. Simply lay the mask to cover your face, sit back on your couch and spend family time allowing the actives in your mask to soak into your skin.

My family will be using my Pulse+GLO Sheet Masks.

If you decide to do the same, here’s a quick guide to picking the sheet mask that’s right for you:

·      Pulse+GLO Honey Sheet Masks – A must for dry or aging skin, this mask deeply nourishes and sooths to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and reveal a youthful complexion.

·      Pulse+GLO Aqua Sheet Masks – Dehydrated skin is quenched with this powerful sheet mask to leave it softer, smoother, and flawlessly refreshed.

·      Pulse+GLO Green Sheet Masks – If your skin is red, irritated, or congested, this mask is the perfect choice to provide infinite soothing.

And if you want to amp up the penetration of your active so that they can go to work more deeply to truly transform your skin, add one of my favorite gadgets – my Pulse+GLO Ion Enhancer to your Thanksgiving Day facial!

Slip the device on top of your mask so that its galvanic current can stimulate blood circulation, refine pores and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The device pulses the anti-aging, blemish-control or calming essences from the sheet masks, deeper and faster into your skin to turbo-charge your treatment.
